How to detach deeply nested symbols | Sketch Tutorial (2021)
https://www.udemy.com/course/learnske... - When you want to use a symbol as a starting point to explore something new, its very common to detach it — then pick it apart. But when a symbol contains other symbols... and those symbols contain more symbols... you could have a bit of extra work to do to get everything detached.
This happens frequently with components like menus or cards which are "organisms" containing smaller atomic design elements.
Now, in Sketch 78, we can finally detach a component and all of it's children all at once! Just right click on a symbol and choose "Detach all Contents from Symbol".
