Chocolate truffles
1 cup leftover chocolate cake
2-3 tablespoons melted chocolate of your choice
Toppings like coco powder, chopped nuts, desiccated coconut or sprinkles

Directions
1. Use your fingertips to break the cake apart and make it into crumps
2. Add the melted chocolate and mix until fully combined
3. Using your palms, take a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Wet your hands with some water if the mixture is sticking on your hands.
4. Once you have finished shaping your truffles, place the topping of your choice into a small bowl or plate and gently roll each truffle until fully coated.
5. Refrigerate truffles for 1 to 2 hours.

Easy biscuits.

2 cups of self raising flour

3/4 teaspoon of salt
6 tablespoons of unsalted butter (in cubes)
1/2 cup or whole milk or Greek yoghurt

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 230 degrees Celsius
2. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl
3. Add the butter and using your fingertips, mix with the dry ingredients until crumbly
4. Add milk and mix well
5. Remove mixture from the bowl and place onto a lightly floured surface and knead with the base of your palm until the dough is smooth (about 1 to 2 minutes).
6. Roll dough into a sausage and cut into 8 to 10 equal dough balls. 7. Roll dough balls between your palms to shape them into the desirable shape and place on a baking tray that has been lined with parchment paper or brush the base of the tray with a teaspoon of oil.
