The U.S. Navy collaborated with AWS Partners General Dynamics IT (GDIT) and BMC to design a Service Desk as a Service (SDaaS) offering for the Navy Enterprise Service Desk (NESD) to enhance its IT programs. The NESD powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides centralized IT services to U.S. Navy members around the world.

The SDaaS solution runs a knowledge-based model driven by artificial intelligence. The solution is hosted on BMC's Helix IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, combining technology advancements with GDIT's understanding of the customer's needs to deliver a transformative IT service experience. This shift toward automation and standardized processes not only improves efficiency but also reduces costs, ultimately providing a better user experience for the Navy.
