To determine the growth in the shunted, we have to look into the age. Whether it is for a male or a female. If it is a female, they will have restriction of growth till 13 or 14 or maximum by 15. In the male, there will be a lot of changes. If they are not growing upto the mark, and they are not putting on weight, there will be growth insufficiency and if they are not proper with their nutritional supplement like their food intake even that also affects and they will be thin and they will not grow more.
