Royal Commentator Josh Rom has told Sky News Australia why Kensington Palace is now under “extra pressure” to show the public “everything is ok”.

The first photograph of Princess of Wales since her abdominal surgery has been recalled by global news agencies amid allegations it was digitally manipulated.

Mr Rom said the photograph has done “nothing to quell” concerns around Princess Catherine’s wellbeing. Kensington Palace is yet to respond to concerns that the photograph may have been altered.

Josh Rom said it was “not a good look” for the Palace, at time there is a stripped back monarchy. The Princess of Wales is not expected to resume public duties until after Easter.
