NRL star and Bulldogs winger Josh Addo-Carr will not be playing this weekend when his team takes on the Manly Sea Eagles.
Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs General Manager Phil Gould revealed the news when he spoke to media on Tuesday morning.
“He is very upset, it’s kind of very, very frustrating for him because he believes in his own heart that he’s done nothing wrong,” Gould said.
“He firmly denies – firmly denies taking drugs.”
His remarks come after Addo-Carr allegedly failed a roadside drug test on Friday, however, the results of the second drug test conducted at the scene have not yet been revealed.
