The flock of starlings in this AE template will automatically dive, swoop, and undulate with random synchronized movements that realistically imitate a murmuration. Composite your animation over your footage to get a convincing murmuration that you can customize. You have complete control over the random behaviors with easy controls. You can also add a flight path to the random movements by drawing a 3D motion path with the pen tool, allowing you to have complete control over where the flock flies. You can remove birds from the flock, or add more. It's easy to use, and the video tutorials gives in-depth instruction on customizing the effect.
This template includes three bird model options, so you can choose your preferred level of detail depending on your flock size, distance from the camera, and speed of your machine. The 1-segment birds are a single layer, and can be used for large populations of birds flying in the distance. The 4-segment and 8-segment bird models are constructed from multiple 3D layers, and feature wings that bend for a more realistic-looking flight. This template is not for animating birds that are landed.
