In this video you'll learn how to use curves to adjust brightness in images using Photoshop.

If you've ever wanted to create images with high contrast, or maybe fine tune the brightness or darkness of an image than this video is for you! With curves you can adjust not just the overall lights and darks of an image, but also pinpoint areas within your image that'd you like to adjust contrast for. We'll also take a look at changing the color tones of an image using the RGB curves toolset.

You'll learn how to apply a curves adjustment layer to an image.

I'll show you how the curves graph can change the brightness and darkness of an image, and all of the special adjustment tools that come with it.

#3. Shift Color Tones with RGB and CMYK Curves

You learn how to shift the color tones of an image between the Red, Green, and Blue channels. We'll also look at the opposite color spectrum, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black (CMYK) and how that differs from RGB.

Now, you'll have an understanding how to make images brighter in photoshop, as well as adjusting for contrast/color tones with curves!
