Remembering 9/11: Russ Mitchell recalls reporting from the 69th Regiment Armory in New York
As we mark 23 years since the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, 3News' Russ Mitchell recalls reporting from the 69th Regiment Armory in New York while working at CBS News.
Following the attacks, Russ remembers that the Armory was known as the 'saddest place in New York City,' as it was where people went to find out if their loved ones were alive or dead. --
