Hans Otte - 'Das Lied der Welt' for 10 choirs in 10 countries (1986)
Nine European public radio stations coordinated by Hessiche Rundfunk from central studios in Frankfurt joined forces in December 1986 to produce 'Das Lied der Welt' (The Song of the World) by the German composer Hans Otte (1926-2007). For this work there was not a single audience, except for the electronic space of the radio, since only in it were the performances of mixed choirs gathered, each one located in one of the participating stations, which were following the indications of the score, and whose directors had direct contact with each other and with Otte himself through a "command" line.
