Marjan Mozetich is a Canadian composer best known for his 1997 violin concerto 'Affairs of the Heart'. Originally a writer of avant-garde and serial music, beginning in the late 1970s Mozetich shifted his compositional style into a kind of lyrical postminimalism which eventually became full-blown neoromanticism in the mid-1980s. This video compiles a number of compositions written during that transitional phase as well as a more recent piece for choir which falls into the minimalist idiom once more.
