Here's some test Sony S-Log2 / ITU709 footage, transformed to AgX and compared to sRGB LUT.
More about AgX:
AgX is a view transform that takes linear rec.709 footage (or stills) and forms a very pleasing looking image, by employing a couple of film-like traits, such as chromatic attenuation (a.k.a 'highlight desaturation') and special tonality, and dynamic range "compression" (incorrect term).
Made by no other than Troy Sobotka (same person who made Filmic Blender)
Get AgX here: https://github.com/sobotka/AgX
For AgX to work, you will need software compatible with OpenColorIO v2 (OCIO V2), I.e: Nuke, Blender, Olive, Houdini, Maya, etc. etc.
