Netgear Range Extender AC2700 Troubleshoot Playstation

If you're trying to connect your Playstation to a Netgear Range Extender AC2700 and having trouble, this step by step guide will help you troubleshoot the issue. Follow the steps below and you should be able to get connected in no time.
There are multiple ways that you can perform a factory reset to your range extender:
On the device itself
On a computer or mobile device with a web browser
On Your Range Extender
Locate the reset button on the bottom of the range extender.
Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds until the Power LED blinks amber, and then let go.

You may need a small object like a paperclip or a toothpick in order to properly press the reset button.
Your range extender will begin to reboot and will perform a full factory reset.
Using a Web Browser
Connect to your range extender's Wi-Fi network.
Open a web browser of your choice on the device you're using.
Navigate to the following address: mywifiext.net
Enter the password when requested.
On the Netgear Genie page, Click the Menu icon, Settings, and then Other Settings.
Click on Reset.
Press OK.
Your range extender will begin to reboot and will perform a full factory reset.
