This video compares all the settings inside Age of Empires IV to figure out how to get better FPS while still maintaining a good-looking game. You can either try out my recommendations or make your own based of the comparisons I show in the video.

In the video I will showcase the difference in average FPS, which I will also show as a percentage difference between the different options inside the settings. And if the setting has an impact on the VRAM usage, then I will also showcase that difference between the different options, both in terms of megabytes and the percentile difference.

Tested on Windows 10

I am playing on a 1440p monitor upscaled to 4K while testing the game. This was done to ensure that my pc was used to its fullest but also to allow me to test the game in multiple resolutions when needed.
