Walking around Asakusa from Nakamise-dori Shopping Street (仲見世通り) to Sensoji Temple (浅草寺).
Sensoji Temple is located in the Asakusa district of Tokyo, Japan. It is Tokyo's oldest temple with a history stretching back to the 7th century. The temple is dedicated to Kannon, the Buddhist goddess of mercy. The Kaminarimon, or "Thunder Gate," is the outer gate of the temple and serves as the entrance to the temple and leads to Nakamise-dori shopping street. Beyond it lies the Hozomon, the "Treasure-House Gate," the inner gate that leads to the temple's main hall and five-story pagoda.
