So first let’s talk about how does its rain in nature.
The heat from the Sun turns moisture (water) from plants and leaves, as well as BODIES OF WATER LIKE oceans, lakes, and rivers, into water vapor (gas), which disappears into the air.
This vapor rises, cools, and changes into tiny water droplets, which form clouds. ... When the water droplets get too large and heavy, they fall as rain.
Simple right.
Let me give an example: Have you ever seen when you take a hot shower and you forgot to turn the exhaust on and the steam goes and hits the cold mirror and water droplets will form. The same principle we will be using today for our experiment!
But we are making it rain in a slightly different way
What we will be doing is pour boiling hot water into the glass and put ice cubes on top of a plate.
The hot water vapor hits the cold ice plate and it will get cold again and fall down like water.

1. A big clear glass jar
2. Boiling hot water (adult supervision is important)
3. A plate
4. Ice cubes
Let's get started
Pour the hot water into a glass jar. Then cover it with a ceramic plate. Place the ice cubes over the plate and wait for it to rain!!
Simple and but effectively learned the science behind the rain!!
