Welcome back, educators.
No need to save or make a copy. The version history does that on behalf.
A list of changes that have occurred in the document. And who did it, and when.
Open the File menu, then click See version history on the sub-menu.
The Version history sidebar will appear. Let’s explore what we can do.
On the Version history sidebar, we find the date, time, and the person who did the change.
To expand the detailed version, click the little arrow.
Hover over one of the versions on the list, then click the 3 dots.
Choose an option from the drop-down menu.
Write something on a new page, then name the current version.
In the pop-up window, type the name of this version, then click the Save button.
Edit the text that you added before, then name the new version.
Now, open the version history sidebar and active the toggle button.
The version history will show just the named versions on the sidebar.
Activate the checkbox on the sidebar to show the changes.
To restore the old version, click the 3 dots, then click the Restore this version option.
We could restore past editing and come back to the point where we are any time.
That’s it, have fun. Thanks for watching.
