A) Now, we have reached another culturally rich place Hajo located at Kamrup district, Assam at a distance of 30 km from Guwahati.
Here we visited an Old temple Hayagriva Madhava Temple is situated on the Monikut hill dedicated to Lord Vishnu. King Raghudeva Narayan is said to have built this present-day temple structure way back in 1583.
B) To explore Assam famous breakfast, we visited Chandrama Hotel.

C) Then we reached Sualkuchi which is 11 km from Hajo. Located on the banks of mighty Brahmaputra river, Sualkuchi is known as Manchester of Assam as it globally famous for its large number of cottage industry engaged in traditional silk textiles and handloom sector. Sualkuchi is a textile hub of Assam including its GI-TAG Gamcha.
D) We also went to Nalbari around 36 km from Sualkuchi. We visited famous Hari Mandir. Just 3 km from Hari Mandir, we visited Pranita Restaurant & fast food known for its ocean of sweetmeats and unique delicacies.
E) Our next destination was 30 km from Nalbari, the town named SURTHEBARI. It is Globally known for its bell-metal industry and is the second largest Assam’s handicraft after Bamboo Craft. There will be around 300 homes that are employed in metal-bell making work.
F) Our last junction was BARPETA, which is 25 km far from Surthebari. Famous for Vishnu-temples locally known as Satra or Naamghar. Satra has also been a central hub for traditional performing arts besides being places of worship.
