A Roguelike Sequel Done Right | Hades 2 Early Access Impressions
Though I didn't play it extensively, I loved the mess outta Hades, so of course I jumped at the bit when Hades 2 early access released and promptly tested the extremes of my sleep schedule. Hades 2 has a lot to live up too; it will probably be compared to the other very successful roguelike sequels we've seen release like risk of rain 2, spelunky 2, and TBOI rebirth, and it has a very high bar of standard to meet set by its predecessor Hades. Does this title truly live up to its massive expectations? Spoiler: yes.
