Xbox PC Gaming - Install Game on Other Drive
Installation of software to other locations has been around for quite awhile now. It usually is the installation program that comes with software determines either a 'default' or 'custom' installation.
But now the Xbox App for PC manages all your Xbox PC games and allows you to determine where you want them installed. In fact, you can setup alternate drive locations for your Xbox games. This allows you to prevent the game from being installed on your C: drive and therefore competing for space and operation of the OS.
Here's a suggestion on how to analyze your drive space and install your games on a different drive. You can even have several dedicated Xboxgames directories on different drives.
