JD Vance appears ‘disingenuous’ as he tries to defend ‘childless cat ladies’ remark amid backlash
The Australian's Washington Correspondent Adam Creighton joins Sky News host Chris Kenny to discuss JD Vance's comments after facing backlash over the remarks he made back in 2021 about some Democratic politicians.
The Republican vice president nominee defended his resurfaced comments in which he referred to Democrats like AOC and Vice President Kamala Harris as a 'bunch of childless cat ladies' who don't have a stake in the future of the country.
"I mean, Vance did not really resolve on those comments …I think he believes them," Mr Creighton said.
"The explanations were a bit disingenuous. I mean, he clearly did criticise people, for being childless. That's clearly what he said.
"So it's definitely not a good look."
