Find What Types of Files are Using your Hard Drive Space with Glary Disk Explorer
If you are running low on hard disk space and want to find out what types of files are using all your disk space, you can easily do so with the free Glary Disk Explorer program. This app will let you analyze hard drives or folders and then show you which files are taking the most space. You can even filter by documents, pictures, videos, music and compressed files. There is also a feature that will show you how may files are using what extension.
Once you select a file, you can do things such as open a command prompt to that directory, open the folder where that file is located, view the properties of that file and delete the file permanently or send it to the Recycle Bin.
