The versatile Demarkus Lewis presents Smoke, a deep house gem of a track that combines drum dynamics with complex harmonies and sub bass. Demarkus confidently carries his notes outward into soulful euphoric pads while he shuffles his drums to alternately push the chords apart and fold them back together. Smoke is addictive and moving in its ethereal groove.

Denmark's Desos (Deso Records) plants the celestial sound of Smoke in a warm and organic bed of syncopated hand percussion to create an earthy remix. The electric bassline pushes and pulls the harmony with magnetic force. Giant whole notes help the chorus to break the arrangement open until the echo of a rhythm guitar carries the remix back to the drum arrangement. Desos' remix is perfect for outdoor Springtime sessions.

Smoke will be released on April 20th, 2012 and will be available for purchase at Beatport, Stompy, and iTunes.
