Making health services work for deprived populations in the North East
Professor Bola Owolabi – Director, Health Inequalities Improvement at NHS England recently visited Healthworks which delivers a range of projects, activities and interventions which support people of all ages to lead a healthier life. Healthworks works with partners across Public Health and the NHS to develop new initiatives and services to meet emerging need and support people living in poverty in the North East. A great example of Integrated Care Systems working effectively to reduce health inequalities.
