Creative Maternity Shoot with Gels | Lindsay Adler
In this video, I demonstrate a creative maternity shoot using gels and a star filter to achieve a bold, colorful, and unique look. I combine hard light with blue and magenta gels, rim lights, and creative filters to create a saturated image that stands out from traditional maternity images.
Here's a breakdown of the lighting:
- Main light: Bare strobe with a blue gel (no modifier)
- Rim lights (2): 1x4ft Strip Softboxes + grids + magenta gels
- Background light: 10 degree grid + magenta gel
- Additional element: Four-point star filter
