Broken Carbon Fiber Wing Spar on Bixler 2 - Replacement For $1.99 at Home Depot or Lowes
The 6mm hollow carbon fiber wing spar in my Bixler 2 broke after a high G turn and rough landing. I replaced the carbon fiber wing spar with a 7.5mm solid fiber glass reflective rod marker. I had to enlarge the hole for the new wing spar. When I bought the rods a few months ago the cost was $1.39+tax. Now they are $1.99. Damn inflation.
