I bought a Red Brick 30A ESC for a NTM 28-26 1200kv 20A brushless motor for my Bixler 2. The ESC gets up to 190F degrees at 50% throttle. A 20A motor should not overheat a 30A ESC.

7x5 prop that came with the Bixler 2 (Balanced by me)
Does the motor or ESC need a break in period before the ESC cools down and works normally? I'm not sure if the temperature sensor was making good contact with the ESC. Maybe that is why the temperature dropped halfway through the video.
I will purchase an infrared thermometer and run the test again.
