Sometimes users type something in Excel that isn't correct. Follow the simple steps in this Microsoft Excel tutorial and learn how to restrict what data can be entered onto a spreadsheet which will work for most versions of Excel in this Excel tutorial for beginners.

Here is the formula used in the video:

=ISNUMBER(SEARCH("Yes", B2))+ISNUMBER(SEARCH("No", B2))

=ISNUMBER(SEARCH("Yes", A1:C10))+ISNUMBER(SEARCH("No", A1:C10))
