The Legendary Jungle Of Venezuela's Roraima That Inspired Jurassic Park | Nature Documentary
A team of explorers venture to the legendary "Lost World"- the remote jungle plateau of Roraima in Venezuela. Cut off from time and the jungle below, Roraima inspired Sherlock Holmes author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's book "The Lost World" (1912) about tales of men and dinosaurs. This was the inspiration for Jurassic Park. Today explorers encounter the various animals and extreme wildlife on its route across the Gran Sabana and up the 9000 ft. mountain.
