Anarina, a remote region on the northern tip of Madagascar is home to diverse wildlife and hidden wonders. The remote region is adorned with ancient forests, where crowned lemurs leap between trees, and jagged rocks and deep cave systems where creeping crocodiles lurk. Crowned lemurs are endemic to the region and have adapted to their harsh habitat. Their padded feet have evolved to walk along razor-sharp rocks unscathed. Living in matriarchal families, these lemurs struggle to survive against dangerous predators.

French scientist Olivier Bara and local expert Angelin Raza Mano explore the extensive cave systems of Anarina, uncovering clues about the region's history and the sacred relationship between the local Antar people and the Nile crocodiles, revered as reincarnated ancestors. These crocodiles, dangerous yet protected, coexist with the villagers in a delicate balance.
