These lectures are live, where we discuss, "What makes a Great Game?"
And as we discuss this, we will see, over the course of this series, whether I am able to get closer and closer to that ideal- to see if I am able to instantiate a great game into reality. I have skin in the game, so to speak, because my hope, as is the hope of all true game developers, is to create a great game.
The second broad theme of these lectures is on the nature of Quality. What makes a quality game? What is Quality? Why is it that we can fairly easily identify it, but we can't easily create it?
