Swarm of Flies - After Effects Tutorial
In this video, I animate a fly walking across the face of a dead cowboy, and create a swarm of flies flying around his corpse. I use the "Swarms" template for After Effects, available at https://creationeffects.com/swarms. This tutorial offers some compositing tips for your swarms, as well as the steps for making an insect land and take off.
The "Swarms" template allows After Effects users to create realistic swarms of flying insects for compositing onto your footage or motion graphics. The template includes 18 different bug species to choose from, and offers total customization, so that you can create custom swarms of bugs, and control how they look and where they fly.
