The Nordica Enforcer 89 2025 is the latest update on a darling of the All Mountain category. The 89 replaces the outgoing 88 and apart form the 1mm difference in waist width, has changed very subtly.
Like the rest of the Enforcer family, it maintains a hefty amount of tip rocker and taper giving it a a great shape for skiing off-piste. Though being built on an 89mm platform, the Enforcer 89 excels on the piste as well as off.
Who’s it for?
The Enforcer 89 is the easiest to manage of the Enforcer family, catering to everyone from Strong Intermediate up. The rockered shape allows for a shorter turn radius and easier turn initiation than many comparable skis and makes them happy to pivot around off piste.
That being said, the 89 is far from a slouch. It is still a rock solid build with two sheets of metal and a stiff flex. It will reward skiers that ski fast with good technique whilst maintaining the ability to shut down speed in an instant.
Why we love it?
The Enforcer 89 is a perfect ski for skiers who spend a lot of time off piste but realise the necessity of skiing on them. If the wider Enforcer 94 has scared you because of its width, the 89 is a perfect match.
