Evernote Version 10.0 for Windows - Install & First Impressions 😕
Today, let's have a rather lengthy look at installing Evernote version 10.0 for Windows. Yesterday (October 7, 2020), Evernote just released their version 10 for both Windows and Mac platforms. Their new design is to bring cross platform compatibility, improved syncing and to give us a better feel - and usability - across the board (ie all platforms).
Here's my experience with downloading, installing and using Evernote version 10.0 on my Windows based laptop.
Your results may vary. But I'm going to suggest, that most of you might want to wait a bit to upgrade to this version and let a few bug fixes and performance improvements roll out first!

📝 A message to Evernote: I get it folks, you've got the "new" Evernote you want to get rolled out ASAP and show off all the hard work - but honestly, this is what your average user is seeing. This is turning people away from Evernote. Someone new gets into this, and they won't wait to see the bug fixes roll out, or to wait on the missing features to return. They will and do go elsewhere. I'd like to suggest you take a closer look at your software roll out strategy. I'm not expert of course, and haven't rolled out software applications for a very long time - but even 'back then' we tested and we tested and we fixed before pushing a final release knowing that it was perhaps 'inferior' to prior versions. Just a bit of a thought from an 'old timer'.
