unity - animation rootmotion on off
When you download animations from Mixamo they may have motion or be in place. If you download a walk animation from mixamo that is an animation that has the "in place" option. If you import a walk animation into unity and you did not check in place, you can still remove rootmotion when the animation plays by clicking "loop pose" on the animation properties in the inspector window.
