Winter Wonderland - A magical Experience of Ice, Music, Light and Food
On Tuesday, Dec 28, we made our trip to the amazing Winter Wonderland. We had rebooked the tickets. Its a great experience to be in Hyde Park and Winter Wonderland.
We started our journey by 10:15 in the morning in our Little Mini Cooper Clubman D our travel companion.
Winter Wonderland is a Christmas festival like event that is hosted on the Hyde Park every year. The entire Wonderland is based on a Bavarian Village theme and we have lots to experience there from games, rides, ice rink, giant wheels, music, food and over everything the amazing lighting and the picturesque shops and bars. Entry cost is £5 per person but if you book a few rides an experiences worth £20 upfront then the entry fee is waived off.
We tried out the magical ice kingdom which is a must see experience, a world made in ice with ice sculptures doors and walls. Then we made our move to the ice rink, my first time ice skating experience which was wonderful with a few falls on the ice and finally walking skating like a zombie. We also took the Santa Train ride which is not worth to do. The ice mountain ride is an adventurous experience which really lifts your adrenaline.
The Night view was amazing, and its the best experience we can ever have with music food and live performances around. The Bavarian village takes a whole new mood with German, beer, hot dogs, pizzas and Bavarian dance. We can see many singers performing at every nook and corner.
If you be in London during Christmas, do give a try and make sure you spend the night there.
