DEMO: timeline changes, performance pack, CMA, marketplace, themes, typescript updates
In this video, ScandiPWA maintainers are discussing an upcoming major release. This release will feature a TypeScript migration, the progress of which is reported in this video.
We discussed:
Typescript migration completion moved to mid May
Other tasks in pipeline will keep their original estimates, but the start date will move
Magento 2 endpoints to be packaged and optimized for performance
Marketplace will soon receive updates, we are focusing on high quality themes and extension publishing, with support
CMA to receive OTB linters and improvements in admin performance, later we will focus on telemetry most common issues
Expansion of team with 2 more people, slowly but surely involving them on PWA2 project
Typescript updates: Data Containers migrated, except product list widget
Started migration of PLP, PDP, Product list widget
Started MyAccount components
Next we plan to migrate cart and checkout
