The best investments are the ones that have stood the test of time and are owned for long periods of time!

Real estate is such a unique investment, in that it allows you to leverage debt at a rate that depreciates over time due to inflation to acquire an asset that appreciates with the time value of money. There is nothing else like it and it also provides us with the utility of use.

Because of the compounding appreciation that real estate provides most home owners will see 100% return on their cash investment (down payment and closing costs) in under 3 years.

In todays video I breakdown what it looks like to own a property for 5 years with todays anticipated 5% annual appreciation. Its pretty amazing if I do say so myself.
