Youth climate activists from XR Extinction Rebellion have planted trees in Banda, Kampala, as part of their efforts to address climate challenges caused by deforestation.
Coordinator Mukisa Rogers and NFA Supervisor Angela Nakiwanuka expressed concern about the ongoing tree cutting without replanting, which threatens to push the country towards desertification.
