‘Unfathomable loss’: Friends stars react to Matthew Perry’s death

The cast members of Friends have released a statement on Tuesday following the death of actor Matthew Perry.

Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer have all paid tribute to their fellow cast mate

The statement reads, “We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew”.

“We were more than just cast mates. We are a family.

“There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”

Matthew Perry’s post-mortem has returned inconclusive and his cause of death is yet to be confirmed.

A toxicology report has been requested before a conclusion is made but antidepressants and anti-anxiety medication were found inside his home.
