Inter VLAN Routing Using Sub-Interface (Router-on-a-Stick)

In previous session we used Inter VLAN Routing Using Legacy Method, But its not a good solution for large number of VLAN routing because legacy method will use large number of physical interface of your switch as well as in router, So the improved method of inter VLAN routing is routing by using a single interface enabled with Trunk 802.1Q protocol at switch side and configuring sub-interface at the router end.
So, in this session we will see how we can configure inter VLAN routing using sub-interface and trunking protocol. Its sometimes also called Router on a stick method of Inter VLAN Routing.
