Minecraft is a sandbox video game originally created by Swedish programmer Markus "Notch" Persson and later developed and published by Mojang. Minecraft Console Edition is developed by 4J Studios on behalf of Mojang. Minecraft features various modes including survival, creative, adventure and mini games. Additional features are available with the use of mods (or modifiers) that are custom made by both fans of the game and the developers. Minecraft has become one of the most played and popular games.
