Winter Car Camping - Sleep Shelter in a Car from a Strong Blizzard, Snowfall
Take shelter from heavy snow and blizzards in a comfortable car. Arrange yourself a winter car camp, where it is warm and cozy, and outside there is a snowstorm, the sounds of heavy snowfall and blizzard. In the car you will feel safe and comfortable. Story line:
" There were only 15 miles left to the village, but the road was so covered with snow that it was difficult to continue driving further. Even though my old 1984 Ford Econoline had all-wheel drive, I had difficulty driving through some snowdrifts. After driving about two more miles, I simply stalled in the snow, as there was a lot of snow on the road. I was fully prepared for such situations, since my car was equipped with everything necessary. It had independent heating, walkie-talkies, a radio, a blanket and pillows, food and other necessary things. We had harsh winters in our region, so getting stuck in our car was common. My family was waiting for me at home; they knew that I should arrive soon. The first thing I tried to do was contact them by radio, but apparently due to bad weather I couldn’t get through to them. Then I turned on the auxiliary heating to keep the car warm. Next, I unfolded the bed, took out the blanket and pillows from the special trunk, and crawled under the blanket. I just lay there and looked out the window, watching millions of snow flakes fly past at great speed. There was a radio nearby that occasionally picked up a radio wave. It was very warm and cozy in the car, but at the same time there was severe frost and a snowstorm outside the window. Then there was an incoming signal on the walkie talkie, I answered and luckily for me it was my wife Emily. I told her that my car was stuck and asked her to tell our neighbor Jake to come with a tractor and pull my car out of the snowdrift. She said she would do so and that I should wait for them. I was glad that they would soon come to my aid. But I also understood that I would have to wait about two hours. I didn’t notice at all that I was hungry and only now realized it. I took the burgers and potatoes that I bought in the city about an hour ago from the thermal bag and began to eat deliciously. When I finished eating, I poured myself some delicious hot tea from a thermos and slowly sipped it. At the same time, I picked up a guitar and started playing my favorite tunes. This moment was magical, I felt completely private, safe and comfortable. I even caught myself thinking how good it was that I was stuck here, because otherwise I would not have been able to feel this small and cozy moment of happiness. "
