In this video , i will show you how i made a fully functional 3d printer from scratch. i have made it using aluminium extrusions of size 20x20 and 20x40mm. i have used an aluminium sheet and made gantry plates from it using a grinder and drill machine.
the heart of the project is an Arduino Mega 2560 board and RAMPS 1.4 shield board. i have used 4 NEMA 17 stepper motors, 3 for the axis's and one for extruder. you can find all the parts required below. i have also given buy links for them
You Can Download CAD Files For Mount Plates Here:

UPDATE: Now you can buy the frame from here: https://superbtech.in/product/3d-prin...
the frame dimensions are as follows:
20x20mm aluminium extrusions:
top horizontal: 380mm
left side vertical: 400mm
20x40mm aluminium extrusions:
right vertical: 400mm
bottom y axis: 420mm
bottom horizontal 2 pcs: 150mm
x axis horizontal: 400mm
the build area of the printer is 210x200x220mm
i have used the delrin v slot wheel and aluminium extrusion design for the frame, as it provides more accuracy and rigidity.
