Hey everyone! Welcome back to the channel. In this video, I'm excited to show you how to build an affordable and accurate thrust testing setup for brushless motors using a simple kitchen weight scale. This method is a cost-effective alternative to creating a custom setup with Arduino and other components.
I Built it by modifying a kitchen weight scale and adding a removable motor mount on it, to easily swap the motors during testing. i also secured the weight scale on a plywood block so that it does not move during testing.
i will be suing this setup to test bldc motors of different ratings to determine the best motors and propellers suitable for various applications.
This setup is perfect for hobbyists and enthusiasts looking to optimize their motor and propeller combinations for RC planes, quadcopters, and other projects. Watch till the end for detailed steps and tips!
