'Tranq': the flesh-rotting drug adding to America's opioid crisis
Commonly called the "zombie drug" or known by its street name "tranq", xylazine, an animal sedative, is adding to the opioid crisis in the US.
Increasingly mixed with highly addictive fentanyl, often without users' knowledge, it seems to cause a gruesome side effect: rotting flesh and wounds that don't heal.
