Avoid the afternoon slump: keep lunch simple

Lunchtime at Nutrify HQ ⏰🍍

We like to eat simple for lunch (and most other meals).

Lunch is usually nothing too heavy either.

1-7ish ingredients, majority whole foods.

And usually sandwiched with a walk prior or after.

On today’s menu:

• Handful of biltong (dried steak and salt) from @barebellfoods, easily the best biltong on the market, for a good dose of protein.
• 2x rice cakes for a few simple carbohydrates and to provide a vessel for the almond butter.
• Sauerkraut for digestive health (fermented foods contain a bunch of probiotics, beneficial bacteria that help gut health) & fibre.
• Almond butter, because 1) it’s delicious and 2) almonds are a good source of fibre + fats.
• Fruit for dessert (peach for me, apple for Josh), natural sugar hit + another source of fibre = win, win!

Results:

Satiated, not bloated, sweet tooth craving taken care of and all easily logged with Nutrify!
