Plus, Detroit plans to spend all of its $827 million in pandemic relief funding by the end of 2025, a year earlier than the U.S. treasury deadline to spend the money. So where will it all be spent? One Detroit Producer Will Glover gets the details from BridgeDetroit reporter Malachi Barrett on how and when the money will be spent, as well as how it will impact Detroiters’ daily lives.
And, with summer officially here, contributors Cecelia Sharpe and Dave Wagner of 90.9 WRCJ have a list of exciting events for you to check out around Detroit this weekend on “One Detroit Weekend.”
