►Lesson Description:
In this video I show you how to build the clang++ compiler, which is part of the LLVM project, from source. I'll show you which guides to navigate to, and what you need otherwise to get started. The setup is for the most part straightforward, but it's worth trying out if you need to be on the latest and greatest version of clang++ (or any tool under the LLVM umbrella). It took around 45 minutes overall to build lldb and clang (including clang++) from scratch in this video on a parallel using make on ubuntu 22.04.
