Up to 14,000 two-room flexi flats to be launched for singles, elderly over next three years
More housing for singles and the elderly. Up to 14,000 two-room flexi flats will be launched in the next three years -- 30% more than the period from 2021 to 2023. There are minimum age restrictions for applicants of flexi flats. An elderly must be at least 55 years old, while single applicants must be at least 35 years old. The National Development Ministry said its priority is to build enough flats to address the expected increase in housing demand from singles.
